The works consists of the mechanical and electrical assembly (low- and medium-voltage) of the Meseta Espinoza thermoelectric plant at the Meseta Espinoza field belonging to Sinopec in northern Santa Cruz.

ASSEMBLY OF CATHODIC PROTECTION SYSTEM
COATING OF PIPES
- Protective coating for underground sections of fuel gas, oil, coolant and service water pipe.
PAINTING OF PIPES
- Application of paint schemes to piping and structures fabricated in situ and retouching of paint on prefabricated and installed equipment
TESTING OF PIPES AND SYSTEMS
- Testing, inspection and certification of systems: fuel gas, oil distribution, coolant distribution and cooling, discharge collection, service water distribution and drainage of condensate in separation filter.
PRECOMMISSIONING AND COMMISSIONING OF FACILITIES
- Precommissioning and commissioning of fuel gas system, chromatograph and recording and measurement instruments, oil distribution system, coolant distribution system, service water distribution system, automatic purge system for liquid separation filter and cathodic protection system, coating and painting of overhead and underground pipes.

Construction and assembly of 35/10.4 kV - 5 MVA (2 x 2.5 MVA) CS1 distribution substation Cañadón Seco site, Santa Cruz

The electrical substation consists of an input field with desconectors and recloser, 35 kV busbar, two transformation fields with desconectors, switchgear and protection panels, 2.5 MVA power transformer, 10.4 kV switching and desconectors,10,4 kV busbar and 5 output fields to loads consisting of disconnectors, switchgear panel, metering and protection.

The service consisted of:

Provision and installation of grounding system
Provision and installation of auxiliary services system
Provision and installation of metal structures and of equipment supports
Provision and assembly of light poles
Assembly of switchgear panels and disconnectors.
Assembly of 35/10.4 KV - 2 x 2.5 MVA power transformers

FINISHED WORKS

The works consisted of electrical startup of the flotation unit at the LH3 Plant and connecting a new Flygt in-pool pump.

The service consisted of:

Modifying the general MCC (Motor Control Center) to tie in the new flotation unit electrical panel and power supply the new Flygt in-pool pump
Provision of general electrical panel for new flotation unit
Modifying Flygt pump start-up modules to incorporate motor temperature protections.

The substation consists of two input fields with disconnectors and switchgear, measurement and line protection panels, a 35 kV busbar, two transformation fields with disconnectors switch, switchgear panels, two 2.5 MVA power transformers, 10.4 kV switchgear panels, 10.4 kV sectionalized busbar, and 4 output fields composed of disconnector, switchgear, metering and protection panels.

ASSEMBLY Electromechanical Substation Z_680 - 33/6.6 KV -2 x 2.5 MVA, El Huemul site, northern Santa Cruz.

Client: Sud America Energy
Date: August-September 2008

The substation consists of a 33 kV input field, with disconnectors switch, input busbar, two transformation fields with disconnector switch, switchgear, metering and protection panels, 33/6.6 kV, 2.5 MVA transformer, 6.6 kV switchgear panel with measurement and protection. Inside the plant, three 6.6 kV variable frequency drives were installed and connected into the medium-voltage switchgear panel.

The service consisted of:

Provision and assembly of metal structures and supports
Assembly of switchgear panels and switch equipment.
